We have been providing quality Sign Language Interpreters for more than 38 years to Southwest Florida. DHHC offers a variety of evening classes in American Sign Language 1-5 and ASL conversational on an ongoing basis. Classes are held at DHHC once a week for a 5 week session. Each class builds on one other.

Our Deaf Mentor Program includes Deaf mentoring Deaf, teaching Deaf Culture, training for independent living skills and activities of daily living, American with Disabilities Act (ADA), family support, job assistance, immigration support and more.
The FTRI free phone program offers specialized amplified telephones that may help you end the frustration over the phone. The equipment is loaned AT NO CHARGE for as long as needed, to residents who qualify.

Specialized equipment for sale for the deaf and hard of hearing. Door bell flasher, baby monitors, smoke alarms, volume controlled phones, TV Ears, tty's and more.
We offer weekly ASL Family Classes to our parents with D/HOH children! This class is completely FREE and offered every Tuesday evening from 6:30-7:30pm.
