Educational Workshop & Support Group

Living with hearing loss can feel frustrating and isolating. Conversations take extra effort, misunderstandings happen, and others may not fully understand what you’re experiencing. You don’t have to face those challenges alone.

The Sally J. Pimentel Deaf & Hard of Hearing Center provides a welcoming space to connect with others who understand life with hearing loss. Our free educational workshops and support group bring together helpful information, practical guidance, and opportunities to share experiences.

Whether you are adjusting to hearing loss or have lived with it for years, join us to:

• Learn about hearing health, resources, and strategies for everyday communication.
• Connect with others experiencing similar challenges and frustrations.
• Share your experiences, ask questions, and find encouragement in a supportive setting.
• Feel understood among people who recognize how hearing loss can affect daily life and relationships.

Join guest speaker Dr. Luis M. Valdéz, M.D., NBC-HIS, Founder & President of A Better Hearing Inc., for an educational discussion about hearing loss and tinnitus, with time to connect with others.
